Comics
RW-94: Reflections on Rwanda (with Darick Ritter).
The setting: It is six years after the genocide and internationalized civil war (2000). While very few are willing to discuss it, the sights, sounds and smells of something horrific still permeate all aspects of Rwanda's life. This undercurrent pulls our character (Christian Davenport) into many paradoxes where Rwanda's people are beginning or unable to explore the truth of what happened.... and others are forging forward with a truth of their own. To understand and communicate what Christian has seen and experienced he partners with fine artist and philosophical misanthrope, Darick Ritter.

Published to date:
- Issue 00 (Released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, civil and interstate war).
- In the inaugural installment of "RW-94", we meet Christian Davenport: a somewhat naive idealistic, yet jaded, worldly African-American academic traveling for the first time to Rwanda in 2000 with intent to help.
- Issue 01 (Released to commemorate the 28th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, civil and interstate war).
- In the second issue of "RW-94" (Chapter 1), Christian dives or falls right into the mix in Kigali and learns a lesson or two about what went down, what's going down as well as what can and what cannot be discussed. Darick pushes to get some clarity and a clear direction for the comic.
